In 2000, CSI landed on the screens. In the city of the Games of Nevada, these cops who use all the tools of science to solve the enigmas, as well on the scene of the crime as in a laboratory, revolutionized the genre of the police series.
The success is immediate and planetary. Gil Grissom, who runs operations in Las Vegas, travels to Miami two years later to launch a team of alter egos who, in turn, will search for the DNA and analyze the blood of the victims, under the leadership of the redhead Horatio Caine.
And in 2004 a third franchise will see the light of day in the Big Apple, led by Mac Taylor. In France, TF1 broadcasted regularly for three evenings, these three CSI, winning each time, with nearly 8 million followers. And of the three teams, opinions vary. Personalities, intrigues, similarities and differences, everyone has their opinion and everyone has their favorite team.
However, behind CSI evolving in the three mythical megacities, many mysteries persist: development of scenarios, reproduction of crime scenes, sets, acting… We met the protagonists of this phenomenon (scriptwriters, producers, actors) , but also real American experts, to dissect some key scenes from the series and highlight the pluses and minuses of each team.
And when the CSI have the floor, they take neither gloves nor tweezers… Las Vegas, Miami, Manhattan: who will have the advantage?
