After getting his masters degree in International Law at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, Hervé Tropéa left the French Riviera to study Criminology at UCLA. Soon after, he decided to leave the field of legal study to focus only on his main passion: television.

Specializing in American TV shows, in 1997 Hervé Tropéa became the Hollywood correspondent for the French TV Guide before getting hired as a co-host on the number one TV Channel in France, TF1, then as a reporter for the CNN news channel in Quebec, Canada, called LCN and for the international news channel i24News.

Hervé is now a juror of the Golden Globe Awards and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

He is the co-author of two books: Paroles d’Experts and Dr House au scalpel.
